The Spartan Choir started up at the end of the 2020-2021 school year under the direction of Sabrina Steck. Their first performance was the inaugural 8TH grade graduation ceremony. Since then, it has been full steam ahead! The Spartan Choir has started up for the school year with many singing opportunities. The choir's first public performance will take place at the Chicago Heights Middle School Veterans' Day Ceremony on November 11, 2021, at 9:45 AM and 12:30 PM. The choir will sing alongside the band as well as on their own to honor our community's veterans. 

The Spartan Choir has been honored with the opportunity to sing at the 33RD Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 19, 2021, at 6:00 PM.  The ceremony will take place at the Senior Center located on Enterprise Park Avenue in South Chicago Heights. As a continuation of holiday cheer, the Spartan Choir will be caroling at the Chicago Heights Public Library as they host their Winter Wonderland event. This will take place on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 5:30-7:00 PM. And to end out a great first half of the year, the Spartan Choir will host their first Holiday Concert with the CHMS Bands, on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 6:00 PM. Join us in the CHMS Cafetorium for "Holiday in the Heights."
